:( I’d love to hear LIGHTS sing this song live. It is my one wish. This song seriously means the world to me.

I still remember who I was with when the original was posted, and I remember what we were joking about. And I remember how I opened up and described how it was speaking the words and feelings I had during my 2011.

Ok enough BS…. it reminds me of Gracie!! Now we don’t talk anymore for some reason…. literally a piece of my heart is missing. I even remember us joking about covering this song… but you know how that went… walking to the liquor store for snacks and forgetting what we had originally intended because I had to rush to work.

anyway, the lyrics that really ring true are :

It was even really ironic how I saw her every morning for over 5 months. And she was always there for me through my worst, helping me to believe that I wasn’t wasting my life. And she was always there to listen to me talk about work and the kids, and she was always so genuinely interested in what was going on in my life. She helped make my 2011. I think this song is spot on with everything I felt for her. Never has a song been so exact. It always makes me happy and sad to listen to this.
